We’re collaborating with the Psychology joint honours degree programme at Nottingham Trent University to support final year projects aimed at extending the knowledge base about resilience and the application of psychology to the world of work.


The students are tasked with conducting literature reviews on a range of industry-related questions set by local businesses. Findings from their projects are then presented at a university conference and the businesses draw on this information to further develop the services they provide. Examples of past projects include:

How does stress impact on work performance, productivity, sickness absence rates, presenteeism and staff relationships?

What are the factors affecting participant uptake and application of learning within group psychoeducation training?
